The mountains are more like hills, you can jump accross most rivers and throw a stone accross most pods in St. Regis Wilderness area, but that doesn’t mean it won’t take your breath away. This outhouse on the South side of Fish Pond is no longer used, but I like that they left it standing even after building a new facility. It’s a slowly decaying testament to the CCC and public works that established and built the parks we enjoy today.
